Today I want to share a delicious variation on an old favorite, deviled eggs. My family loves it when I make deviled eggs, which for some reason isn’t very often. I found this recipe in a magazine and thought “wow adding bacon sounds like a winner”.  It was! They were so good. Very pretty too 🙂 I doubled the recipe.

You’ll need:

4 slices of bacon

6 hard boiled eggs

1/4 cup mayonaise

1 tablespoon spicy brown mustard

1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Crisp up your bacon in a skillet over medium heat. Let cool on a paper towel. Chop 3 slices of bacon into small pieces. Save one piece to top the eggs.

Boil the eggs. Cut the cool peeled eggs in half. Saving the yokes in a small bowl.

Mash the yokes with a fork until crumbly.

Add  mayonaise, spicy brown mustard, sweet pickle relish, and garlic powder to the crumbled egg yokes and mix well.

Add bacon and mix well.

Spoon the mixture into the halved eggs.

Top each egg half  with a small piece of crispy bacon before serving.
