Kale Chips

1 bunch kale

olive oil

sea salt

Preheat oven 350 F

Wash and trim the kale. Removing the stems.

I used kitchen shears, made it pretty easy.

Tear into small bite size pieces.

Make sure the kale is dry. You can use a salad spinner. Or blot with a towel.

Lay a single layer on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.  It’s important to keep a single layer so they crisp up.

Drizzle the olive oil over the kale and sprinkle with sea salt.

Bake for 12 – 15 minutes. They are finished when the edges start to brown. Take them out of the oven, close your eyes and try one. You’ll be surprised how much they taste like chips.
