Chicken tacos that are made in the slow cooker are a great choice for the family or for a crowd.
My family has been visiting from out of town these past few weeks. We like to eat out once or twice but it gets expensive and tiring eating out. I decided to make a big batch of chicken taco meat and feed the whole gang. It’s easy to do. Plus it’s a self serve meal. Perfect for a crowd.
You’ll need:
Boneless Chicken Breasts
Taco Seasoning
Slow Cooker
Place your frozen breasts into the slow cooker. Sprinkle seasoning all over the chicken.
I heated the taco hard shells in the oven at 350 degrees F for a couple minutes. I microwaved the soft shells layered in paper towels for several seconds.
I diced up some onion, lettuce and tomatoes.
It makes a great self serve meal when you have a family gathering. Everyone can make their taco the way they like it.
Happy Eating. 🙂
