Beef Brisket in the Slow Cooker is a simple way to make the brisket fork tender.
Have you ever cooked a beef brisket? It’s a less tender cut of meat so many people shy away from cooking it. You can read more about the specifics as to why it’s tougher here. In summer my husband loves to smoke the brisket for many hours in his Weber Smoker. When I told him I was going to make the brisket in the slow cooker, he was skeptical at first. He quickly changed his mind after he sat down to dinner and had that first bite. 🙂
You’ll need:
2 – 3 lb Beef Brisket
Roasted Garlic and Herb seasoning, I use Weber brand Roasted Garlic and Herb Seasoning.
Cornstarch (optional for gravy).
Season the brisket on all sides with garlic and herb seasoning.
Pop it straight into the slow cooker.
Put on the lid and set the cooking time for 10 hours on low.
After 10 hours, remove from the slow cooker.
