I’ve always loved making smoothies. Now, my granddaughter Katie is all about making her own smoothies. We’re all thrilled because they are so good for her. Katie especially likes how when you add green spinach it will virtually disappear. She can’t see it or taste it. I’ve also started adding essential oils into our smoothies. I prefer Young Living essential oils, but there are many fine essential oils on the market. It’s amazing how a little essential oil can make a big taste difference, so start slow until you get used to using them. I added 2 drops and it gave a very mild lemon flavor and added nutrition.
You’ll need:
1 banana chopped
1/2 cup blackberries
1/2 cup strawberries
1 cup fresh baby spinach
1 cup almond milk
2 drops Lemon essential oil
Today I am starting with fresh ingredients, if you want your smoothie frozen, freeze your fruit the night before. I always buy fruit on sale or in when in season and freeze it to use later. Makes it to easier to whip up a smoothie any time.
Layer all your ingredients into your Ninja/blender.
Blend until smooth, the time will depend on your blender, the Ninja whips it up quick.
Drink up!

It takes 75 lemons to make one 15ml bottle of lemon essential oil. That’s a lot of lemons. If you would like more information about Lemon Young Living essential oil you can go to my website or contact me at [email protected].
