You know I’m always looking for simple recipes using the least amount of ingredients possible. This recipe is no exception. I’ve been getting some good deals on crescent rolls by using sales combined with coupons. I’m getting serious again about my couponing again! I had forgotten how much fun it was. There are many stores that now offer additional digital coupons, those are my favorite!
Simple Apple Pie Turnovers
Preheat oven to 375
Open the crescent roll package and separate the triangles on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet.
In a small bowl mix the butter, apples, sugar, and cinnamon together. Add a dash of lemon juice.
Spoon 1/4 of the apple mixture onto a triangle. Top with another triangle and pinch the sides together to seal the triangles together.
Repeat with the last 6 triangles. Use a fork to make a few small holes for steam to escape.
Bake for 13 minutes, until golden brown.
In a small bowl, mix the powdered sugar, and milk together until it makes a frosting that’s thin enough to drizzle on top of the turnovers.
Transfer the apple turnovers to a plate.
Drizzle the icing over the turnovers when they are still warm.
Now it’s time to enjoy them!

Hope you enjoyed the recipe. Time to take the dogs for a walk. The weather is warming up and nothing feels better than a brisk walk all around the neighborhood and to the park with my girls. They love it too! How about you?
Does the warmer weather and the sunshine make you want to get outside?
