The crunchiness of the greens with the combination of taco meat, onions, cheese, and sour cream makes this low carb taco salad a satisfying lunch or dinner.
Have you ever made your own taco salads at home before? Once I started making my own we never buy them when we go out to eat. They are super simple to prepare and even your biggest salad critics will fall in love with this recipe!
I use grass-fed ground beef, but you can use any ground meat. The taco seasoning is homemade and less expensive to make than to buy at the store, especially if you use it frequently.
You can choose any lettuce you like. I like to use a combination of different lettuces, it makes a beautiful salad with the mixture of lettuce colors. They are mor nutritious than iceberg lettuce.
