Are you ready for the big game? Are you making wings? I have a simple way to whip up a big batch of Sweet and Spicy Wings in the Slow Cooker. It’s so easy and they come out so tender!
You’ll need:
2 lbs of chicken wing pieces
1 cup of barbecue sauce of your choice
1 cup pineapple juice
1/4 teaspoon or more of cyanine pepper, we add more because we like them spicy.
Mix the barbecue sauce, pineapple juice for the sweet, and cyanine pepper for the spicy, together in a small bowl and set aside.
Place the wings frozen into the slow cooker and pour the sauce over them.
Mix until coated.
Cook on high for 3 – 4 hours.
Place on a baking sheet and place under the oven broiler until crispy.
We like our wings super crispy but you can make them as crispy as you like!
