I am a huge fan of stir-fries. They are easy to prepare and this dish is loaded with fresh broccoli, which we love. Stir fry is a Chinese cooking technique using a small amount of hot oil in a wok to quickly cook meats and vegetables. You can use any variety of vegetables and/or meats to create your own version of this stir fry.
You’ll need:
1 1/2 pounds pork loin cubed
1 sweet onion chopped
4 cups broccoli flowerets chopped
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons Rice vinegar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons Hoisin sauce
In a large skillet or wok heat the oil over medium-high heat. Saute the pork until internal temp of 140 F. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Add the broccoli and onion to the skillet and saute until cooked stirring constantly. Add the rice vinegar and soy sauce. Cook until desired tenderness about 5 to 10 minutes.Add the pork into the skillet with the broccoli and onion. add the Hoisin sauce and mix. Cook until warmed through. Stirring constantly.
