Every Valentine’s Day since my children were small Ive made a heart shaped meatloaf and pink mashed potatoes for dinner. They loved it and now my grand kids love it too. You can use my recipe for meatloaf or use your own 🙂

You’ll need:

1 lb ground beef

1 lb ground pork ( or use all beef)

1 cup dried bread crumbs or 3 slices of bread cubed

1/2 cup milk

1 beaten egg 

1/4 cup minced onion

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Put the ground meat in a large bowl.

Cube up the bread.

Add the bread to the meat and mix.

Add the rest of the ingredients.

Mix it up real good.

Foil line a cake pan and shape into a heart <3

I like to put ketchup on top. Bake at 350 F. for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Temp above 165 F.
