Simple Pumpkin Pie Recipe
Here we are a couple days away from Thanksgiving, are you prepared? I have it pretty easy this year. My daughter and her husband are hosting our family dinner. I’m making this Simple Pumpkin Pie Recipe. It’s the same recipe my mom used to make her pies every year. Nothing fancy, nothing unusual, just a couple good old fashioned pumpkin pies!
Preheat oven to 425 F
In a small bowl mix together the spices and sugar
In a large bowl beat the eggs.
Add the spice and sugar to the beaten eggs.
Add the pumpkin puree and stir until mixed.
Slowly add the evaporated milk and mix.
Put the pie crusts into ungreased 9-inch pie pans.
I used a fork to decorate the crust edge.
Bake in at 425 F for 15 minutes
Reduce temperature to 350 and bake another 40 to 45 minutes.
Remove and cool before slicing.
