I have been making my own pizza sauce for many years. It’s so simple, and you can freeze any leftover for the next pizza night. I buy certain herbs in bulk so I can make my own pizza sauce and taco seasoning. This year I am expanding my herb garden. So now I can dry my own herbs. I ordered my heirloom seeds last week from Mary’s Heirloom Seeds. Her prices are reasonable with free shipping. I am super excited to get started. My grand daughter Katie is also super excited to get started because she has her new gardening kit I ordered for her. It’s adorable and just the right size for her little hands 🙂 Enough about that, now on to the sauce!

You’ll need:

I can tomato sauce

1 Tablespoon Oregano

1 Tablespoon Basil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Mix all the ingredients together in a small bowl.

If you don’t use all the sauce you can freeze it for the next time you need pizza sauce
