Grilled Zucchini & Squash

We have been grilling a few times a week since the weather has gotten warm. We use our old Weber kettle charcoal grill.
I love the charcoal grill flavor. I have been trying more vegetables and boy does it make them taste great.. It’s so easy. All I do is after the meat is finished cooking. I grill the vegetables. They don’t take very long. It depends on how hot your grill is. I grilled zucchini and squash last night.
You’ll need :
zucchini
squash
olive oil
seasoning ( I used a prepared one made by Weber. I found it at Sam’s Club. It’s a garlic and herb seasoning. I used to always use McCormick’s garlic and herb until I found this brand. It’s cheaper and in a larger bottle. ( And no, I am not getting compensated for saying nice things about Weber products. :))
First cut your zucchini length wise about 1/4 inch thick.
Cut the squash length wise about 1/4 in thick.
Make sure they are all about the same thickness so they will cook evenly.
Lay out in a pan and drizzle with extra virgin olive oil. Coat both sides.
Sprinkle with your seasoning.
Lay on the hot grill. Cook a couple minutes on each side. They cook pretty quick, depending on how hot the grill is.
We ate ours cut up as a side dish. You could mix them in a red sauce and pour over pasta. I might do that next time.
