Anyone who knows me knows that I am a big coupon user. I can’t imagine paying full price for any personal care items or household cleaners. I have always been able to get really great deals on those items. I have found that Dawn dish washing liquid is hard to beat. I really like the foaming type but I couldn’t get the best deals on that type of Dawn. So I found this post that explains how to make foaming hand soap. I have been using it for a while now and love it. The money I save is incredible.
You’ll need :
an empty foaming soap dispenser
Dawn dish washing liquid
water
fill the empty container with about an inch of Dawn
slowly fill the rest of the way with cool tap water
put on top, mix gently, do not shake
You can also do the same with other liquid hand soap. Clear based soaps work best, like Dial or Softsoap. The grand kids love the foam! Makes them want to wash their hands all the time! And that’s a good thing. 🙂
