My grand daughter Katie loves her chocolate crackers from Meijers. I’m not crazy about her eating those processed foods so I looked for a recipe for chocolate crackers and found one here. I made mine with whole wheat flour and sucanat. I am going to look for some cute little cookie cutters to use next time. I also needed to roll them out thinner then I did. They tasted great though. I couldn’t get Katie to try one. She can be stubborn sometimes. Wonder where she gets that? Hmmm… Tyler loved them. So it was a half victory. Katie enjoyed making them especially the blender part. I will be making these again. Make sure you roll the dough thin and even so they crisp up correctly.

I’m a former fan of those very same animal crackers! I gave them up because of the ingredients, so I’m super excited to try these!!
