Instructions
Place the cleaned chicken in the slow cooker. Cover with water.
Add the onion, carrots, garlic, celery, salt, and pepper.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
Remove the chicken from the broth carefully. I usually use 2 large slotted spoons. Let it cool on a plate until you can comfortably handle it, Remove the chicken from the bones.
Add the chicken back into the broth.
Serve with noodles.
Recipe Notes
It's really extra good with homemade noodles. They take some time to make. I usually make a large batch and freeze some so it's worth the effort. I will share how to make them with you soon.
