Ingredients

  • 1 pound of ground beef chuck
  • 1 pound of spicy ground sausage
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 3 - 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/2 a head of cabbage chopped
  • 2 cups cooked brown rice
  • 4 cups of water
  • 4 cups chicken/beef/vegetable broth
  • 2 cans tomato soup condensed

Instructions

  1. In a large pot or dutch oven saute the garlic and onion with the ground beef. Cook until no longer pink. Drain off excess fat.
  2. Add water and broth to the meat.
  3. Stir in the cans of soup.
  4. Add cabbage and cooked rice.
  5. Bring to a boil and simmer for at least 20 - 30 minutes
