Portobello Mushrrom Burgers 0065text

We love mushrooms at my house. When they are on sale I buy a bunch. Mushrooms are nutritious and low in calories. Did you know that portobello mushrooms are a full grown crimini mushroom? I have never eaten a portobello mushroom burger. I was told it’s a great substitution for beef on your bun. Well, I was pleasantly surprised after making these. They tasted very good, maybe not quite like a beef burger but very good, especially topped with cheese. I broiled mine because it was a little cold to be outside grilling. I can’t wait ti try them on the grill when the weather warms up. They are super easy to make. I hope you like them as much as we did.
