The Gathering Spot # 116

the gathering spot

Welcome to The Gathering Spot this is a linky party. Hope you all had a safe and fun Labor Day weekend. I spent mine with family. We were all pretty low key and the weather was on and off rainy, but we didn’t mind, we had fun in a more quiet way. I took my 3 year old grandson Tyler for a 2 hour sunrise hike. It was a memory making moment for sure. Tyler talked the whole time. We threw rocks in the creek, played like we were lost in the woods and he was a ninja turtle. It was the absolute best time. We even came across several curious deer. This was Tyler’s first time seeing a deer up close. The doe hung around us for several minutes like she was just as curious as Ty was. 🙂

This week’s featured post is from Noreen @ The Crafty Journal. She shared a One Sheet Folded Gift Pocket Book. It is the cutest little craft! Noreen always has the most clever and thrifty ideas on her blog. They are usually very simple so anyone can make her crafts. Looking for some halloween or fall ideas? Noreen has plenty so make sure you stop over and get your craft on. 🙂
