Recipe type: Fish
Serves: 4 serv

Ingredients
  • 14 ounces of salmon (I used 2 - 7-ounce cans of boneless salmon)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs + 2-3 tablespoons for coating
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • ½ teaspoon garlic seasoning optional
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • salt
Instructions
  1. First, drain the salmon. Reserve the liquid in case the patties are too crumbly to handle.
  2. Using your hands combine the salmon, egg, bread crumbs, onion, garlic, pepper and
  3. salt.
  4. Separate into 4 equal size balls.
  5. In a large skillet heat the oil over medium-high heat.
  6. Flatten each ball carefully, if they are crumbly add some of the reserved liquid.
  7. Coat with the extra panko bread crumbs.
  8. Carefully add the coated patties to the heated oil.
  9. Cook for about 8 minutes per side.
  10. Until both sides are brown and crispy.
  11. We thought they tasted perfect without a sauce.
