Cheesy Meatball Sliders

- 2 pounds of ground beef chuck
- 3 cloves of garlic minced
- ½ cup diced onion
- 1 teaspoon dry oregano
- 1 teaspoon dry basil
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese (3/4 cup - ¼ cup)
- 1 cup grated romano cheese
- 4 string cheese sticks, each cut into 4ths
- 4 cups of red sauce, use your favorite spaghetti sauce (2½ cups - 1½ cups)

- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- Lightly spray a baking dish with oil.
- Spread 3 cups of red sauce on the bottom of the baking dish.
- In a large bowl mix gently together the beef, garlic, onion, oregano, basil, ¾ mozzarella and romano cheese. Do not over mix.
- Divide mixture into 15 equal size balls. Press ¼ of a cheese stick into center of the meatball and close meat around cheese.
- Place the meatballs in the baking dish and top with remaining sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until cooked to 165 degrees F using a meat thermometer.
- Remove from the oven and serve.
