Tomatillo Salsa

Ingredients
  • 1 pound tomatillos, husked
  • ½ cup onion finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 hot pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice
  • sea salt to taste
Instructions
  1. Using a blender or food processor blend all the ingredients together except the lime juice
  2. Place all the ingredients into a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer. Simmer for 15 minutes.
