Pork Lo Mein
Author: Diane
Recipe type: Asian
- 1½ lbs of boneless pork loin
- 1 cup broccoli crowns
- ½ head cabbage thinly sliced
- 3 green onions sliced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon minced or grated fresh ginger
- 3 tablespoons reduced sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons garlic infused rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- In a small bowl whisk together garlic, ginger, soy sauce, rice vinegar and honey.
- Thinly slice pork loin into bite size pieces. I do this when it is still partially frozen. It's easier to slice.
- Bring a pot of water to boil and cook the Chinese noodles. Drain and set aside.
- In a large fry pan heat the oil over medium high heat. Add the sliced pork and cook until no longer pink. Remove from pan, cover and set aside.
- Add the onion, garlic, broccoli and cabbage into the pan and saute slowly adding the sauce as you go.
- Cook until tender.
- Add the cooked pork, Serve over the cooked noodles.
