Cheddar Bay Biscuits Copycat Red Lobster
Ingredients
  • 2 cups whole wheat or all purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • ¾ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1½ sticks unsalted butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 (8 oz) package shredded mild cheddar cheese
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven for 425 degree F
  2. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a small saucepan or microwaveable dish melt 1 cup of the butter, then set aside.
  4. In a bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, garlic powder and salt.
  5. Pour the melted butter and milk into the flour mixture and whisk together until wet, do not over mix.
  6. Fold in the cheese.
  7. Drop onto baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Melt the rest of the butter and brush on top of finished biscuits.
