It’s that time of the year when the asparagus is coming into season so prices are going down and the flavor is going up! It’s a win-win!
My focus on Mamal Diane this year will be more towards what I truly want to blog about. Low carb, low sugar, healthy fats, walking, traveling, and my hometown Dayton, Ohio. Plus anything else I think you might be interested in.
Asparagus and Sausage Sheet Pan Dinner low-carb
A super simple low-carb sheet pan dinner with fresh roasted asparagus and kielbasa sausage.
- 1 lb sausage cooked
- 1 lb asparagus fresh thin asparagus
- 6 clove fresh garlic
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
First, wash the fresh asparagus, and snap off the lower tough part of the stem.
Cut the sausage up into 12 - 14 even size pieces. I cut them in half to expose more of the inner part of the sausage. Helps it crisp up a little more.
Using the olive oil thoroughly coat the sheet pan.
Place the asparagus on the oiled pan and roll them around until they are all coated
Add the cut up sausage cut side down, evenly placed around the asparagus.
Bake in a preheated 425 F. for 15 minutes until sausage is getting a little crispy and the asparagus is tender.

First, let me say I’m not an expert on nutrition.
Recently my husband finally decided he would take his weight gain/loss more serious and finally start doing something about it. Our family doctor recently retired so my husband reluctantly went to visit a new doctor. Well, let me say he was pleased with this physician. He told my husband to cut out carbs and sugar right now, today. When he came home from his appointment he told me he was ready to do it!
I’m overjoyed. I’ve immediately started removing carbohydrates and sugar from our daily diets. Stay tuned for my next low carb recipe.
