The Gathering Spot # 57

the gathering spot

Welcome to The Gathering Spot this is a linky party. I hope everyone is having a  good start to the week. It’s been a busy day here. We had a new roof put on our house. Lots of hammering and foot steps over head all day. Kept my doggies on alert. I hope everyone had a wonderful Father’s Day. We celebrated on Friday night with the kids and grand kids. So on Sunday I spent most of my day cleaning my basement because we are having company on Thursday. I have a guest sleeping area in the basement and I waned to make sure I got all the cob webs down 🙂 My cousin is visiting us. She is a Mary Knoll Sister. She has spent most of her adult life living in Brazil working with women  and children. I love when she visits, she has wonderful stories to share. She is my mother’s God-child. So I have been busy getting the place company ready. Gives me a push to deep clean 🙂

This week’s feature is from Pam at Brown Thumb Mama she shared a post Hired Killers: Bugs in Your Garden. She tells us about the beneficial bugs that are in our garden. I love the good bugs! She has a wonderful blog full of gardening, recipes and lots of green frugal living. She really has tons of information you might find useful so go check out the Brown Thumb Mama.
