Welcome to The Gathering Spot. This is a linky party. Hope everyone is having a great start to the week. I am getting ready for a visit from my sister and her husband. I am so excited! They are arriving on Thursday for a long weekend. My sister moved to New Jersey after she got married over 45 years ago. There is nothing like spending time with your sisters :)

This week feature is by Jodie Fitz she shared a delicious recipe video for a Pumpkin Smoothies. She has a wonderful blog packed full of really great recipes. So many are kid friendly which I love. Make sure you pay her a visit and say hello.

Feel free to share your recipes, crafts or whatever it is you have been doing the past week from your blog with my followers. If you are not a blogger feel free to leave comments with your ideas. All I ask is that you follow my blog by any of the ways I have listed, or on my side bar. Leave a comment and let me know you are a new follower and I will follow you back. Please link your post back to the blog hop. You can grab my button from the sidebar or simply add a text link somewhere on your blog. With all that being said…Let’s Party!

Hi Diane! This week I’m sharing my conclusion on what I found real food shopping at Walmart … it’s all about compromise, becoming friendly with it, and knowing how to keep pushing for improvement anyway!

What a beautiful blog. I was just introduced to you via another blog, which had linked to your Gathering Spot!

I shared a post about making a calendar at home – this is especially useful if you don’t want to buy a calendar as the year ends!

When my husband was stationed in San Diego, we had almost nothing (we were sleeping on the floor!) and I desperately wanted a calendar but was reluctant to buy one; this idea came in handy and saved the day!
