I love fresh fruit smoothies. While I was on vacation in Mexico I would have one every morning. So now I am craving them. I like to make things at home rather then go out. This way I control what’s in the food I eat and it’s much more economical. I found a good basic recipe here. You can change it up as you wish
You’ll need:
8 oz fresh strawberries
2 ripe bananas
3 tablespoons honey
1 cup ice cubes
3/4 cup yogurt
Peel the bananas and remove the stems from the strawberries.
Place all the ingredients into the blender.
Blend
Pour and drink.
Next time I will try freezing the fruit to make it thicker. It was delicious. You can add more or less to your tastes.
Shared at these parties.

Looks delicious! I’m like you — I love smoothies but the price! Like you said, this way you know just what you’re getting, too! Yum!
