Join Me in the Movement of Underwareness! (Free Sample)
I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Depend. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
When I was given this opportunity to sample Depend Silhouette Active Fit briefs and join the #Underwareness movement I was thrilled. Have you seen those commercials with everyone walking around in their Depend underwear? They sure caught my eye, pretty wild. I’m fortunate enough not to suffer from bladder leakage, but 1 in 3 women do. That is over 51 million woman! So I decided to join the movement and try Depend Silhouette Active Fit briefs. I wanted to see how comfortable they really are and I couldn’t wait to tell my sister about them. My sister has had trouble with bladder leakage for years, she says having twins is what did it. I gave my sister the Depend package I received and asked her to try them for me. She was happy to do it and wore them for two weeks. She said she “loved the colors and how they looked, and that they are very thin and lightweight, not bulky at all.” She said, “After awhile I didn’t even notice a difference, I was able to walk and carry on with confidence.” Thanks to my sister for being my guinea pig. I love my sisters!
I also used Depend underwear when I cared for my mother. My mom has been gone almost 2 years. Mom had Alzheimers. Helping her go through each stage was a huge challenge. She went from my mom/best friend to a needy scared stranger who on occasion would call me the devil. I didn’t take it to heart, I knew it was the disease talking and not my mom. 🙂 Her physical needs changed along with her personality. I remember the transition to Depend underwear. My mom pitched a fit at first when she thought she had on what she used to call a “diaper”. Thankfully not long after mom needed more than a pad Depend came out with the colored briefs. Mom didn’t notice the difference after that, she thought they were her regular briefs. It helped my sweet mother keep her dignity, and me keep my sanity. (Picture of my mom and dad)
In support of all of these women who suffer in silence with bladder leakage, Depend has made these really nice lower-rise briefs that fit comfortably and smoothly under your clothing. They are thin and have a fabric-like look and feel. They come in black and beige colors and they look so much like regular underwear. I tried the black pair. They had a nice snug fit, very lightweight and not bulky at all.
Depend has entered a 2-year #Underwareness social movement to take the stigma out of bladder leakage. They are encouraging people to show their support of women with bladder leakage. It’s simple to get involved and show your support. For every photo and video shared using #Underwareness, the Depend brand will donate $1, up to $3 million, through 2016 to fund charities that advance the research and education of bladder leakage.
To join the movement all you need to do is request your FREE SAMPLE of the Depend Silhouette Active Fit briefs here. Use #Underwareness when posting your video or picture. I posted my picture to show my support.
Check out this video that shows the reaction of a woman at an underwear only gym. It’s pretty darn funny.
